Xbox One Native 1080p Games Get Addition

The battle for console graphics supremacy is raging as the release dates for both the Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One grow ever closer. Each new game announcement is keenly observed by those gamers for whom graphics conquer all.

The Xbox One has taken some flak from the obsessives in recent weeks but the good news is that a new, a large title is joining the existing roster of native 1080p games.

Need For Speed: Rivals comes into the Xbox One fold along with NBA 2K14, Kinect Sports Rivals, Forza Motorsport 5, EA Sports UFC, Skylanders: Swap Force, and FIFA 14, as games that render natively at 1080p on Xbox One.

Now, hold on one sec... it's also going to render at 1080p on the PS4. We know this because of the line taken by EA community manager Jessica Damerst over on the US PS Blog when confirming the assertion by a poster that: "NFS rivals is 1080P 30fps on all nextgen consoles"
