Graphics Whore Hell! Call of Duty Ghosts: 720p Upscaling
PS4 vs Xbox One in graphics war.
Executive Producer at Infinity Ward, Mark Rubin, took his virtual life in his hands when he took to Twitter to break hearts regarding new gen consoles and Call of Duty Ghosts.
Basically, in a world where game-play is often second placed to how a game looks the news that Mr Rubin had to impart to a breathless world. Frankly given projected sales of the game, one of the hardware makers is going to be very happy indeed.
Rubin says, "Hey, been on the road last couple weeks so haven’t had a chance to update, but wanted to confirm that for Xbox One we’re 1080p upscaled from 720p. And, we’re native 1080p on PS4. We optimized each console to hit 60 FPS and the game looks great on both. Still on the road, but glad to see the great reception to Extinction. Can’t wait for next week's launch."
