Microsoft's director of programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hryb (who also like to be known as Major Nelson for reasons we'll leave to his analyst) has been hinting at keyboard and mouse support for the Xbox One.
This might seem like a small change in inputs to the system but it would open up whole new avenues of gaming and other uses (including Microsoft's own cloud-based Office services) if it happens. Check out the Major's interview technique in the video below. Catch him responding to the possibilty that developers might be able to offer such support with....
"if that's something they're interesting in doing, we will certainly help them do that... Certainly, it's possible, but we don't have anything to announce at this time."
