Rockstar Exploring Lost GTAV Characters
The online GTAV problems are now getting beyond acceptable.
Due to the massive popularity and record setting sales of GTAV and the excitement surrounding what was promised to be an exciting and compelling online experience for the first time we all expected the online game to have teething problems. But this is getting silly.
In a post entitled - terrifyingly enough - "Loss of characters, rank, items, apartments, and/or in-game money in GTA Online" Rockstar owns up to some more problems and gives advice including: " If you want to make sure the characters you create are saved, you should not proceed into GTA Online when the R* Cloud Servers are unavailable...
It continues, "Even if the services come back up while you are playing on a temporary character, that temporary character will not save -- you would need to return to Single Player and re-enter GTA Online to load your non-temporary characters and resume playing with the ability to save progress." So, what is Rockstar doing about this?
"We are continuing to investigate the causes of the lost progress and what can be done to minimize the impact until a permanent fix is in place. Also, we have not forgotten about the requests for restoration. We are in the process of determining the options for addressing the issues for those players who have been affected. Please stay tuned for further updates here."

Like many people playing gta v,ive had trouble getting online.and from the begining had money problems.lost over £80.000.yesterday could not get online all day/night.today getting online no problem but my level 34 character is gone???? this is one ANGRY gamer.rockstar USED to be my favorite game makers.now i feel like going all TREVOR on there asses.GET IT SORTED ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
