LEGO City Undercover Download Requires Wii U External Hard Drive
According to statement by Nintendo.

E3 2012
Fancy downloading LEGO City Undercover directly onto your Wii U from the Internet when it's released at the end of the month? Better invest in a separate external hard drive - you'll need it, according to a new report.
Eurogamer reports that the game weighs in at 22GB, which is obviously way too large for a Basic 8GB Wii U console. Nintendo released a statement informing users to get external data storage secured if the thought of buying the disc version doesn't appeal to them.
"An external hard drive is required to download this software," says the statement. "Visit support.nintendo.com for information about storage options."
No specific mention was made of the Premium Wii U console, which has 32GB of storage.
