The PlayStation 4 will be the talk of the town at the Games Developer Conference this month, event organisers have revealed. Sony Computer Entertainment America is planning to stage a presentation extolling the virtues of its new hardware to potential third parties.
"Overview of PS4 for Developers" is the title of the keynote, and will obviously focus more on the benefits of the tech for game creators rather than consumer-chasing bullet points. But still, events like these can unearth some tidbits of new information. We'll just have to wait and see.
The PlayStation 4 was formally announced by Sony in a press event in New York last month. Touted as a console 'by developers, for developers,' it makes sense that this GDC presentation "will discuss the technology from a development standpoint as well as from the design side." Unspecified "SCEA partners" are said to be involved in the talk.
GDC runs from March 25-29 in San Francisco.
