Killer7 Studio Acquired by Japanese Online Publisher GungHo
No word on how this will affect SUDA51's work.

Goichi Suda's studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, has been acquired by Japanese online game publisher GungHo.
That means that the outfit responsible for Killer7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw and the in-production Killer is Dead will be added to GungHo's publishing portfolio, which includes Ragnarok Online and Dragon Saga.
It is not known whether the acquisition will heavily impact the direction and development of Grasshopper's future projects. The studio also has a deal with Japanese mobile company DeNA to create games for GREE - whether this will be affected at all remains to be seen.
In a statement regarding the acquisition, GungHo said that it "is fusing the planning and development power of Grasshopper Manufacture with the power of managing online games cultivated by both companies to produce higher quality content." Hopefully that means good things.
