Nintendo Direct Web Code Hints at Wii U Virtual Console Announcement
Gamecube and Pokémon Mini also mentioned.

Ahead of today's Nintendo Direct broadcast, keen-eyed gamers have discovered pieces of web code in Nintendo's website that suggests an announcement for a Wii U Virtual Console.
According to NeoGAF, code buried within the UK Nintendo Direct page contains references to 'Virtual Console (Wii U)', 'Pokémon Mini' and 'Nintendo GameCube' among other formats. It was determined that these details were only added recently.
It's no secret that a Wii U Virtual Console is on the way. Nintendo confirmed it was working on it earlier this month, with a rep saying "We are moving ahead with development of Virtual Console for Wii U, and we plan to make it so you can play it on the Wii U GamePad alone." (CVG)
Stick around for Nintendo's Direct stream, taking place at 2pm.
