Top marks for Sony's PR department today, as Prince Harry is quoted in the Metro today claiming that video games have helped him reach top of his military class as an Apache co-pilot gunner. Not just any video games though - PlayStation games. The Royal slipped in the Sony brand whilst in Afghanistan, being interviewed about his military training. "‘I probably should have done a lot more reading, but I was fine at flying," he said.
"Exams were always a nightmare, but anything like kicking a ball around or playing PlayStation – or flying – I do generally find a little bit easier than walking, sometimes."
Speaking of his helicopter training specifically, where he received a prize for best co-pilot gunner out of 20 classmates, Harry added, "It’s a joy for me because I’m one of those people who loves playing PlayStation and Xbox, so with my thumbs I like to think that I’m probably quite useful."
Sit back and have a cup of tea, SCEE. Your boys did good.
