BioShock Infinite was delayed back in May - and we were all very sad. But don't think that the time extension has anything to do with a multiplayer mode - Irrational Games head Ken Levine confirmed last night that the game will include no such thing, remaining a single-player experience.
It was rumoured that BioShock Infinite
would include a multiplayer mode, after the studio advertised a position
for a "Network Programmer" that would "require a combination of initiative, leadership, design, coding, and daily problem solving on multiple target platforms."
When Levine was asked to clarify
whether the game would include such a feature on Twitter last night, he responded simply with the words
, "No multi."
Seems that this mysterious "Network Programmer" is involved with other online tricks that Irrational are not yet talking about. We'll be able to find out more soon.
