Just Cause Developer is "Going Next-Gen on Your Asses"
Sending back all of its PS3 and Xbox 360 development kits.

Just Cause studio Avalanche is packing it all up! As in, it's currently boxing up all of its PS3 and Xbox 360 development kits and sending them back. Why would it do such a thing? It seems likely that the developer is looking to focus solely on next-generation games in the future.
That's what's happening in that picture there. Studio founder Christofer Sundberg posted it on Twitter, with the comment, "We're shipping 'em back. Going next-gen on your asses."
The studio is currently working on an "unannounced AAA title" for release on next-generation consoles in 2014, but it recently opened another outfit in New York with a focus on "large-scale, online-enabled original IP for next-generation consoles, handhelds and PC."
A formal announcement can't be too far off, surely.
