Nintendo Working to Speed Up Wii U Navigation
Reckon you can fix it before November 30, Nintendo? Cheers.

Perhaps one of the more legitimate complaints we've seen regarding the Wii U is the fact that it takes a rather long time to actually get anywhere on the console. Nintendo has admitted that navigation could be faster, and has announced that it is taking steps to rectify the situation.
The company must mean business because the place where such an announcement was made was on the official Wii U support website, under the General Info section. "We are aware that users are experiencing load times when they launch or switch between applications," the statement reads.
"We are exploring ways to enhance features for consumers’ overall experience." There's also information on what to do in the "rare and unlikely to occur" instance that you may get a console freeze. Worth checking out all the same, because knowledge is power and all that.
