Updated: New Uncharted Outed by Ratings Board - Mobile Game Predicted
Brazilian board calls Vita title.
The Australian Classification Board is the governmental body that puts ratings (many apparently from the 19th century) on movies and games. It also sometime reveals those games in advance of the official release of info via PR and marketing.
Its latest leak comes in the form of a new title in the Uncharted series of games for Sony platforms - only this ONE IS MULTIPLATFORM! Yes, Uncharted for Xbox 360 for sure. Except...
Well, except if the new title - Uncharted: Fight for Fortune - is multiplatform, then so according to the same source is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and so is Uncharted Golden Abyss and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception... but none of them actually are.
The new title is detailed here as coming from One Loop Games which state that it is, " an expert in the social and casual gaming markets," and that, "You need a social game? Multiplayer? Realtime stats? We can do that."
It lays out its cards thus, "One Loop makes video games. Our team has over 30 years of interactive entertainment experience behind it. XBLA, PSN, online social networks, mobile... we've done it all, and we're always looking for the next challenge."
In terms of console titles, the developer worked on the unintentionally hilariousl The Saboteur.
More interestingly in our opinion is what it says about mobile gaming:
"Our team of developers are the same people who brought you the award-winning God of War: Betrayal, Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile, Spider Man 3, Wheel of Fortune, and James Bond: Casino Royale.
"Whether you are looking for iOS, Windows Phone, or Android, we have the chops to get it done.
"Oh yeah, we can do mobile."
So, we're inclined to call this new title as iOS/Android or even Facebook.
