Looks like the cat's out of the bag early - Call of Duty: Black Ops II has been confirmed for a release on Wii U, before Nintendo's Western Wii U online preview has even kicked off.
Its announcement was all but assured anyway, as we all knew a Call of Duty game of some kind was coming, but Nintendo has been coy until now about whether we'd actually see Black Ops II on its upcoming HD console.
Well, the game is on display at a Wii U press event arranged for US games press - Joystiq managed to get a cheeky snap of the units running the game before the conference begins.
