Sir Paul McCartney Confirms He is Working on Video Game Tunes
Long-running former-Beatle, and non-game playing ex-Wing Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed a story we ran in January that he is composing music for a video game. The game is Halo 4.

The Sir-of-the-people tweets that, "I’m really excited to be working on writing music with @bungie, the studio that made Halo."

He is pictured alongside Bungie music boss Marty O'Donnell.

The bass-playing mop-top's own game, Beatles Rock Band, failed to either light up the charts or provide a new generation of listeners to the Liverpool beat combos half-century old pop stylings. He's also owned up to the fact the he hasn't the time to play video games.

Neither of these things has, however, stopped him realising that there is cash to be made in gaming: "A new computer game is selling these days so much better than a new CD. And you reach a different audience," says Sir P-to-the-Mac.
