The tepid sales reception received by the hugely journalistically and commercially hyped Beatles Rock Band ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has told a German newspaper that he working on a music for a new game.He doesn't actually play video games, "because I lack the time..." but this isn't stopping him contributing to the medium. After all, as he says, " A new computer game is selling these days so much better than a new CD. And you reach a different audience. Probably in this way many young people for the first time my music will be heard in a video game."
So, yes he has confirmed that, firmly incentivised, "Actually, I'm currently working on music for a computer game. This is the song with which I am toiling experiencing. I was asked if I could not imagine such a thing, and found it exciting. Moreover, this is a fascinating market."
