SEGA and The Creative Assembly have confirmed that they're currently in development of Total War: Rome II for PC and the darned thing will be out in 2013. The turn-based title "will sink players into the dangerous political machinations of Rome's senate, while asking them to struggle with family dilemmas and question the loyalty of ‘friends' and allies. Leading the greatest army ever seen into battle will be just one challenge you will face at the head of the world's first superpower."
The official release has many hyperbolic statements, which you can read in the link below, but in short it's set in ancient Rome where there will be blood, combat and politics laid out in an intelligent way...
