Let's begin with the fact that we know that the 56-page document purporting to be from Microsoft and outlining the future of the Xbox is real.What we and all the other news outlets reporting do not know is whether it is authentic. And this is despite Microsoft's lawyers Covington & Burling LLP ordering a
take-down of the original Scribd version and therefore providing a veneer of such authenticity.
The document (see sources below) is a fascinating and huge read. It details such marvels as:
* A $299.99 price when released in 2013.
* Four-player Kinect.
* 'Fortaleza' augmented reality glasses.
* Cloud storage and streaming.
Is it authentic? Is it a great PR dampener from Microsoft to Nintendo? No one knows.
