Angry Birds Dev Making A New Game - That's Not Angry Birds

Rovio Mobile is making a new game - and it doesn't involve disgruntled fowl. CEO Mikael Hed revealed the project, called Amazing Alex, on Finnish TV station Yle this morning - and stated that it will be released in about two month's time.
The game will be an extension of the Casey's Contraptions game. Yesterday, Rovio announced that it had acquired the IP from Snappy Touch and Mystery Coconut - it seems things move quickly in the mobile game developer world.
Hed revealed that Amazing Alex will focus on building with an educational slant, and the company is aiming to maintain the quality that it has been known for with Angry Birds for this new project. "The quality pressure is high. We want to maintain the high standard Angry Birds fans have come to enjoy," Hed said.
