It looks like the Creative Assembly-developed Alien title will be released on next-generation consoles as well as current-generation platforms, if a job advertisement at the studio is any indication.
The Total War studio is looking for a Multiplayer/Gameplay Programmer to help develop the high-profile project, with an ad on the company's website
stating that the successful candidate will work "on a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe."
SEGA formally revealed the existence of the Alien game last May
, but no official unveiling has yet occurred - most likely to keep the focus on Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines
, which is set for an Autumn 2012 release. Creative Assembly told MCV back in 2011
that it was "open-minded" about which platforms it will develop the new title for.
