Sony has sought to assure Mass Effect 3 players that it is working on a solution to its problems with EA and BioWare over ME3 multiplayer events."We are currently working together with EA and BioWare on an implementation to bring
Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekends to PS3," the company told
Shacknews. It's not exactly rock solid information, but at least it feels like a step in the right direction.
The promotions, which already went live on the Xbox 360 and PC, offered up bonus content to gamers who downloaded and played the Resurgence Pack over last weekend. PS3 owners were left in the cold, though, with
BioWare laying the blame at Sony's door.
"Sony has not yet approved the promotion. We continue to work with them to find a compromise, but until then, Sony will not allow us to run the same Multiplayer Challenges on the PlayStation 3 that we run on Xbox 360 and PC," BioWare said.
