Everyone's wetting their pants about Halo 4 at the moment, so it only makes sense that Microsoft will slowly drip-feed details about the game as we get nearer to its release date later this year. Today's drip-feeding comes courtesy of GameStop's GameInformer magazine, and hints at a new co-operative mode that works in tandem with free episodic DLC.Yep, it appears that Firefight will be put to one side to make way for this ambitious new co-op model, which will apparently be fed to players by way of weekly episodes that run parallel to the single-player campaign. Four players can join in for this Spartan madness.

More multiplayer-related details include a new game mode called Regicide. In this setting, the top scoring player is tagged as the King and the value attached to him increases with each kill he makes.
