Max Payne 3! Multiplayer! Gameplay! In motion picture! That's right, Rockstar has gone and released the first in a series of trailers that detail the manner of ways you can blow up your Bullet Time-loving friends.
The video introduces two different multiplayer modes - Gang Wars is the primary mode for online play, and pits teams of warring factions from the single-player campaign against one another. There's a branching story mechanic in this mode that allows the experience to dynamically change depending on how you play the game.
Another mode, Payne Killer, is a mixture of competitive and co-operative play. One acts as Max and the other his partner, Raul Passos - the aim is to simply survive waves of enemies by using painkillers and Bullet Time slo-mo mechanics to avoid being shot to shit.
