Microsoft's Resolution for Mass GamerScore Deletions
"Okay, try re-downloading the profile and see if that helps..."
The Internet was rippling this afternoon UK time with the agonised sound of Microsoft Xbox 360 owners realising that their Achievements and Gamerscores had disappeared.
But Microsoft is out there calming nerves (and making shock appointments, but that's another story).
It's Twitter personality @Xbox Support (1-5) is busily telling users:
"If signing out and back into your profile doesn't correct your Gamerscore, please re-download your profile"
"Can you try re-downloading the profile and see if that helps. ^FX"
Users are also being pointed at this support page... "Download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile"
