Pre-Owned Gamers Can Unlock Vita Trophies
PlayStation Vita owners, rejoice! You can in fact obtain Trophies from games that you purchase second hand. A report on Pocket Gamer has details on exactly how you can do that, following fears that Vita games locked Trophy capabilities to the first owner to play it.

Instead of a measure to circumvent the pre-owned market, it sounds like a simple side-effect of the Vita's requirement to lock consoles down to a single PlayStation Network account. By ignoring a warning message that appears when launching the game and deleting the on-card save data, players can unlock the ability to earn Trophies.

When running a second-hand game, a message reads, "You cannot earn trophies in this application. Only the first player to use an application can earn trophies. To earn trophies, you must link the Sony Entertainment Network account of the first player to use this applicational with the PS Vita system." Simply click 'No', remove the previous player's data, and you're golden.
