CAVE Announces Release Date for DoDonPachi Blissful Death
Prepare for a resuscitation!
Get excited! Bullet hell masters CAVE has announced a release date for the iOS version of DoDonPachi Blissful Death. The "resuscitation of bullet hell shooting," will land in the App Store on 9th February and will cost £2.99 to download.
Known as DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou in Japan, Blissful Death is the prequel to previously-released iOS shooter DoDonPachi Resurrection. It was originally unleashed into arcades back in April 2002, with a Black Label version appearing some six months later. A Black Label Extra edition for home consoles was developed for the Xbox 360 in early 2009.
This iOS revamp will run on an iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and 4th generation iPod Touch devices, as well as WiFi and WiFi+3G versions of the iPad 2. Watch the kickass trailer below.
