Microsoft is planning to cut the price - via cutting the cost - of the Xbox 360 in South America by up to 40% by moving production.According to
Marketwatch, "The company said it expects to sell the first console produced in Brazil in October..." this will happen in tandem with Flextronics International Ltd, which already produces the consoles in China.
The report states that "With the local production, Microsoft said that the price of video game consoles will be reduced by 40% here."
The 360s will be made in Manaus, in a factory set up to produce 17,000 Xbox 360s a week.
So, now two countries in the world produce Xbox 360s then.
