Disney Universe - yup that's the name of the new multiplatform title from Disney Interactive that features, "a mix-up of worlds inspired by both animated and live action films from Disney, including titles from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures."
The autumn release 2011 date for the title will hopefully mean that, following a string of game development layoffs, some Disney Interactive staff will remain in work until the end ofJuly.
The game features a selection of 40 Disney character costumes, including Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Mike from Monsters, Inc, TRON from, well, Tron and six different worlds inspired by Disney and Disney/Pixar films.
And.. DLC!
"The fun will continue on with plans for Disney Universe to be an expanding universe post-launch with items for download and new content available. Additional worlds, costumes, and more will be available for purchase, giving Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system owners an ever-evolving gameplay experience."
