PlayStation Network Maintenance Suggests Imminent Store Return
Sony is planning to close the PlayStation Network for maintenance today from 4pm until midnight tonight, suggesting that the restoration of the PlayStation Store could be imminent.

VG247 is also reporting that certain PlayStation Plus members have also seen their subscriptions updated earlier today, with the activation note detailing a "60-Day Welcome Back Extension." If all goes to plan, we could well see the PS Store return tomorrow. Just in time for a bumper update, we reckon.

Sony has previously stated that it intended to bring the Store back online this week. When it does, gamers will be able to take advantage of a Welcome Back package that allows a choice of two PS3 games (between inFAMOUS, Wipeout HD Fury, Dead Nation and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty in the UK) and two PSP games from LittleBigPlanet, Pursuit Force, Killzone Liberation and ModNation Racers.

I'am happy to get wipeout and Dead Nation(already have the great inFamous), but they should have offered a bigger selection of games, since plenty of people could own most of these games. If I did not have my Xbox I may have been a bit disgruntled, as it stands free games are always good roll on midnight tonight.
