EA Loses Key Executive to Zynga
If there's on thing that is essential in a good business-person it's loyalty. Or is it expertise? Or maybe the ability to see the main chance and 'go for it'? Whatever it is Zynga's new executive John Schappert has one of it.

Remember when he left Microsoft to join Electronic Arts in 2009? He got '$600,000 in annual salary, options to purchase 500,000 EA shares, and a $1 million sign-on bonus to replace awards he is forfeiting to join EA."

Well now, he's leaving EA and going to Farmville maker Zynga.

Reuters reports that, "A regulatory filing released on Tuesday showed that John Schappert, EA's chief operating officer, resigned from the video game publisher on Monday. Schappert had worked at EA for the past 22 months and before that with Microsoft Corp for two years."

No idea how much he's making yet, we'll find out.
