SUDA51 Still Keen on No More Heroes Series
Wants to make another one - just not yet.
Grasshopper Manufacture boss Goichi "SUDA51" Suda has revealed that he would like to make another entry in the No More Heroes series, but it's not likely to happen any time soon.
Speaking at the studio's Travis Vs. Garcia charity event in Tokyo yesterday, Suda said of a sequel that, "although it won't happen soon, I'd like to do it at some point."
He then turned to character designer Yusuke Kozaki and mecha designer Shigeto Koyama and added, "Let's make it together." Between the three developers, there are enough character concepts to fill two more No More Heroes games, let alone one.
A sequel to the assassin action game is most welcome - the first two games were developed for the Wii to critical acclaim, but failed to make much of an impact commercially. Any doubts that the sales performance of the games has dented Suda's confidence should be laid to rest.
