Xbox 360 Chatpad Smacked Down by New Device?
If you don't have an Xbox 360 Chatpad and find it annoying to type in lengthy messages to friends, then maybe this solution will have you covered. If it manages to find investors and grab the attention of Microsoft, that is.

It's called the "Circboard," and instead of presenting the user with boring virtual QWERTY interface uses a ring of circles that contain a number of letters to input. You navigate between each circle with the left thumbstick, and select one of four characters with either the right thumbstick or the corresponding face buttons.

It's a neat idea, and it's reminiscent of menu screens and alternative keyboard inputs for other games. This, on top of a patent filed in 2007 for a similar idea, could hold up the Circboard's use in mainstream products (or even consoles).

See a video of the concept in action below - and hope that Microsoft will pick up on the idea.

just give me the good old QWERTY layout, 360 has already f***ed things up (unless they've changed it I haven't been on it in ages) by using one with an Alphabetic layout
