Take a step forward anybody who downloaded and enjoyed the BioShock 2 DLC, Minerva's Den. If you're a PC gamer stay where you are - after several weeks of delay, 2K has revealed that the add-on will never hit your platform. When the DLC was released at the end of August for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, the publisher said that it would be announcing a PC release. Today, Senior Manager of Interactive Marketing, Elizabeth Tobey, said that those plans had been scrapped.
"We will also not be offering Protector Trials and Minerva's Den on the PC in the future -- and I want to say that I'm sorry for the disappointment this will cause to PC players out there," Tobey announced.
"As always, if any of these issues change in the future, I will update you guys first, but at this point in time I don't want to make you wait any longer and these are the most definite answers I have and you guys should deem them final decisions."
Patches that would have added sounds for the vending machines and the ability to create multiplayer DLC map playlists have also been canned. Technical and time-related issues were stated as the reasons for the no-show.
