Europe Xbox 360: iTunes Challenger Coming to 360
Microsoft has announced that European Xbox 360 owners will be able to buy songs and stream downloadable movies via the Zune Marketplace when it is updated in Autumn this year.

The Zune Pass will cost £8.99 and will allow subscribers to have unlimitedd access to music via the service available through XBox LIVE or they can try the 14-day trial which will be available to all Xbox 360 owners with an internet connection.

The pass will also allow users to download films either to rent or by-to-own. Users will also be able to transfer their downloaded content between their XBox 360, PC and Windows Phone 7. They will also be able to navigate the Zune Marketplace using Kinect when the motion control device launches in November.

Sounds interesting but are you willing to pay an additional £8.99 for the ability to listen to music and watch films on your Xbox 360? And do you think the Zune Pass will be good value for money? Please post any thoughts in the comments section below.

Please...They already want to charge an extra £10 for gold. If I want to listen to music I stream it through. What a great new service...

I'm getting bored of all these extra features clogging up XBL and this has to be one of the worse (Twitter/Facebook is close).

So while I might get unlimited music on my console and laptop I can't take it with me through my ipod/iphone. I can if I own a Zune or a Windows phone but who the hell has or will have one of them?

What's worse is that Sony will most probably bring Spotify to the PS3 and once more XBL subscribers will have the worse of the two.
