Microsoft has announced that European Xbox 360 owners will be able to buy songs and stream downloadable movies via the Zune Marketplace when it is updated in Autumn this year. The Zune Pass will cost £8.99 and will allow subscribers to have unlimitedd access to music via the service available through XBox LIVE or they can try the 14-day trial which will be available to all Xbox 360 owners with an internet connection.
The pass will also allow users to download films either to rent or by-to-own. Users will also be able to transfer their downloaded content between their XBox 360, PC and Windows Phone 7. They will also be able to navigate the Zune Marketplace using Kinect when the motion control device launches in November.
Sounds interesting but are you willing to pay an additional £8.99 for the ability to listen to music and watch films on your Xbox 360? And do you think the Zune Pass will be good value for money? Please post any thoughts in the comments section below.
