Amazon Cans XBox LIVE sales
XBox Live Arcade and Games on Demand not to be sold anymore
Amazon.com have recently announced that they are no longer due to sell XBox Live Arcade and Games on Demand through their website anymore.
A notice posted on the Amazon website reads that:
We are no longer selling Xbox LIVE arcade game codes on Amazon.com. You can continue to purchase Xbox LIVE points on Amazon.com and those points can be redeemed through your Xbox 360 console to purchase any of the games that were previously available.
Amazon originally began to sell XBox Live Arcade titles and Games on Demand last year and although this part of the store appears to have been short lived consumers can still buy XboX LIVE points and other peripherals from Amazon's website.
Would you have liked to see XBox Live Arcade titles and Games on Demand still be available to purchase in this fashion or are you not bothered by Amazon's closing of that part of its Xbox online store? Let us know by commenting below.
