An anonymous source has revealed details of the supposed premium service that will be implemented in Cod: Black Ops which is due for release this November.
Online play will remain free but those who pay for the premium service will have early access to map packs,exclusive maps, equipment and early access to the beta for the next CoD game.
The rumoured price for the premium subscription is £10.00 a month but this matter is something Activision has remained tight-lipped about up to now.

I'm not even willing to buy the game when it comes out after the balls up of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer on the PC and the lackluster 5 hours of singleplayer. Never mind pay a tenner a month for perks. How much extra content will it be for £120 a year on top of the box RRP? How many people will be paying for it so you have someone to play against on those exclusive maps?
This isn't even a IW game. At least they made good MP maps that you could sometimes play when the host wasn't being swapped or you were getting the hell bombed out of you by a cheat.

Can't see this happening at that price. I just wonder how much of a harcore there is who would pay that price for all the extra sexy bits? If by not paying it I'll be kept in lobbies with people who also opted out than that's fine, but if you ended up against super soliders that would ruin it for all.

So i will prolly pay over the odds on release, ill prolly pay 10 squids for 3 new maps and i am even tempted to buy the Premium release of the game with the RC Camera Car, but i will not pay 10 a month for this, Activision you robbing bar stewards! maybe a 10 for year but not a month.
