Activision: Bobby Kotick Just Doesn't Have Time for Games
Activision sort of responds to Schafer 'total prick' comments

Activision has responded to Double Fine CEO Tim Schafer's comments about Mr Bobby Kotick yesterday. It hasn't responded to the stuff about him being "a dick" and "a total prick" - presumably that would be beneath such a prestigious company. It has, however, explained that actually Bobby loves games - he just doesn't have much time for them.
Maryanne Lataif, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Activision Blizzard, told IndustryGamers, "Tim Schafer’s comment that Bobby Kotick 'makes a big deal about not liking games' just isn’t true.
"Bobby has always been passionate about games, and loves the video game industry. But as CEO of a company that makes games enjoyed by millions of people worldwide, the demands on his time now make it difficult to play games as often as he’d like to or as much as he once did."
Lataif also added that, "As Schafer himself notes, he has never actually met Bobby Kotick."
Of course, you could be passionate about game for reasons other than loving to play them, especially if you make lots and lots of money out of them.
But seriously, poor Bobby. Poor, poor Bobby.
