Crytek UK Re-Registers TimeSplitters Name
Could TimeSplitters be making a comeback? Crytek UK, formerly known as Free Radical Design, has filed a patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the 2005 release TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

OK, so the patent is nothing new, but it does represent the first sign of interest in the franchise from the studio since its purchase by German developer Crytek in early 2009.

Supererogatory, who discovered the filing, speculated that this could mean a long-awaited PC release of Future Perfect, which only hit the PlayStation 2, Gamecube and Xbox.

We'll leave you guys to guess whether this means anything more in terms of re-releases or remakes. Speak out in the comments box below.
