Modern Warfare 2 studio Infinity Ward is leaking employees at an increasingly alarming rate, as eight more staff walk out since Friday. The total headcount of developers checking out has now grown to 25.It was revealed on Friday that five key members of the beleaguered studio had followed others for pastures new - at the end of the week another three had left; level designers Kevin Bell and Preston Glenn, along with designer Charlie Wiederhold.
Yesterday five more names were crossed off the employment list; lead character artist Joel Emslie, weapons artist Ryan Lastimosa, artist Brad Allen, lead programmer Robert Field and HR/recruitment specialist Kristin Cotterell.
There's no word on where they will head next, but it seems that former bosses Jason West and Vince Zampella are doing a good job of
courting ex-Infinity Ward employees to its new outfit, Respawn Entertainment.
The leave of several key developers from Infinity Ward follows a legal dispute between Ward and Zampella over Activision's alleged unfair dismissal.
Work on Modern Warfare 3 has been halted as a result.
