Actors Maurice LaMarche and Stana Katic have unwittingly revealed their involvement in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, along with the names of the two characters they will be lending their voices to.First LaMarche, already famed for his voice acting in
The Simpsons,
Futurama,
Pinky & The Brain and
The Real Ghostbusters, told Geekcastradio that he will be playing the part of Mr. Freeze. Of his role in the game, LaMarche said, "He’s out for blood right now because, err... I can’t tell you the situation, but he’s actually somewhat a sympathetic character within the framework of the game." We just thank God it's not Arnold.
As for Katic, who stars in TV show
Castle, she will be voicing Talia Al Ghul. If the name sounds familiar, it's because Talia is the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, who was the somewhat-baddie in movie reboot
Batman Begins (played by Liam Neeson). Like Freeze though, Talia is most definitely a villain. Katic made the reveal at the usual place - Twitter - before having her messages removed.
Sounds like
Arkham Asylum 2 is going to have some very interesting twists and references within. We can't wait.
