PS3's Motion Controller Gets Nunchuk Aimed at Wii Developers
Not happy with one unnamed, undated and unpriced motion controller add-on for the Playstation 3, Sony - according to Develop - has added a Wii nunchuk-like device to its existing gem of an idea.

The UK's game development journal reports that, "A games development source has told Develop that Sony's new Motion Controller device will work in tandem with an optional extra Wii Nunchuck-style add-on."

The idea is apparently to aid developers who have already invested their time, energy and resources into developing for the Wii's add-on.

While ,"the controller's final execution will be 'reminiscent' to the Wii, the familiar elements provide scope for those working on Nintendo's platform to 'upgrade' their ideas to the HD rival PS3."

We await the arrival of the PS3 motion control with bated fingers.

Even for Sony, that intellectual theft seems a little... blatant.

That's nasty, but why leave the gun if looking for a prowler?

How will they? Its like Natal, that has been done before with the Eyetoy and maybe the Dreameye depends on how you look at it, and yet no one is firing stolen ideas at Microsoft. Sony would probably makie the idea better anyway.

Yes, fail just like Nintendo, with their millions and millions in console sales. That would be the worst thing for Sony, wouldn't it. I totally understand your logic: Motion is bad, and makes you fail. Good thing Nintendo has great stock options, otherwise they would be done for.
