ModNation Racers Gets PSP Version
Will include portable forms of PS3 creation features.
We're all rather enjoying the ModNation Racers Beta on the PS3. It's quite fun for a laugh and the track-editing is-- oh, you're not in the Beta? Shame. Here's some news that might cheer you up – there will be a PSP version of the game released at the same time as its console cousin later this year.
SCEE's Product Manager Liam Quigley announced the news on the PS.Blog today, saying that – like LittleBigPlanet before it – ModNation Racers on PSP will give you all the features of the PS3 version, only in a portable form.
The features in the PSP version “[allows] you the same creative tools to make your mod, kart and tracks while your on the move/on holiday/at your grandparents house. You will also be able to upload, download, remix and race creations by the PSP ModNation community,” according to Quigley.
ModNation Racers hasn't got a confirmed release date yet. We don't think there'll be a Beta for the PSP one. Shame.
