Maybe you were worried that the entire Sony corporation would go insane and opt not to put out a third Uncharted game. Well, worry no more.
Nathan Drake voice actor, Nolan North, says another game in the series is "assured". "Well I know we're going to be assured a third one. That would just be financially irresponsible, not to do a third one", he told Official PlayStation Magazine.
It might also be financially irresponsible not to do an Uncharted game for PSP. Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells has seemed open to it in the past. Just saying...
North also reiterated that he would like to play Drake in the Uncharted movie, but said he reckons someone like Hugh Jackman's a more likely bet. "Somebody like [Hugh] Jackman is the guy I would like to see. I think the producers really would like to see Jackman, because he has that tough guy exterior but there's a lot going on behind his eyes", he said.
Elsewhere, Naughty Dog has taken the lid off the free multiplayer map coming on Friday that was hinted at yesterday. The map is called 'The Fort' and described by Naughty Dog as "a throwback map – it’s based on the “Fortress” chapter of UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune. The Fort is a long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes." More here. Video below...
