Xbox 360 Netflix Exclusivity to End
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has announced that Xbox 360 exclusivity with his video on demand service won't last forever.

"Eventually we want to be on all the game consoles," he tells Reuters, "all the Blu-ray players, all the Internet TVs. So, we are working in parallel with all of those efforts. Currently our Xbox deal is exclusive and we haven’t characterized it more than that."

Microsoft and Netflix were singing the exclusive as recently as this August.

For consumers this can only be a good thing, right?

I just want them to bring this over the UK. Although what they are doing with Zune Marketplace come the 'fall' update (hopfuly) should be similar.

I wouldn't be surprised in LoveFilm get in on the UK before Netflix got over here. They're already making moves into the digital distro scene

Don't know if you are aware, Pill, but Love Film are Net Flix under under a different name. Heaven knows why they changed the name, because its going to get mighty confusing if they do plan more expansion into consoles etc.

Wouldn't bother me if such exclusivity ended, as its just an extra anyway.
