Following news that Japan and the UK's sales of the console has soared since the release of the slimmer SKU,
La Tribune is reporting that in France, over 37,000 units of the 'PS3 Slim' have been sold in its first seven days.
The sales surge represents an increase of around 1000 per cent, which matches that of the UK's blitz which was revealed by Chart Track yesterday. Although no actual figures were released by Chart Track,
MCV are speculating that it's likely to be close to France's 37K.
All things considered, the PlayStation 3 is having a bit of a good week worldwide.
