Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's MD, Andrew House has just told the Gamescom 2009 press briefing that the PS3 install base in SCEE territories has passed 10 million in two years. Bearing in mind that SCEE covers Australasia and some other islands, this figure can or can't be compared to the one stated by Microsoft's EMEA VP Chris Lewis for Xbox 360: nine million.
