The saga of Activision CEO Bobby Kotick's threat that his company could stop supporting Sony continues. With Electronic Arts in the form of Bioware's Dr Greg Zeschuk adding his two cents (or tuppence) worth today.

Zeschuk states that, "I don't think it's really fair to poke fun at Sony..." we actually think that one of the world's big two game publishers threatening to withdraw support is 'poking fun'. But Zeschuk continues, telling CVG:

"I think it's silly to be saying you're not going to support Sony. The brand itself is still huge and there are millions of [users] out there."

It would appear that Activision Publishing own CEO, Mike Griffith, agrees with this line, having stated late last month - post Kotick - "If Sony can deliver a strong userbase and a good following we will be there with games."

Still none of it seem to bother Sir Howard Stringer, CEO at Sony, who is putting some form of pressure on Activision, although we're not sure what.

Sony could still be understanding with there statments even if at this time they cant afford to reduce price, i feal they could respect the concerns of a huge company that probably dosent need Sony as much as Sony needs it.
