Time for a new platform to sell the game

Suda: No More Heroes: We've Reached our Wii Limit
Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda (Suda51) reckons that No More Heroes has done its dash on the Wii and it's time to move on.

He tells Edge, "I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii,” he added. “To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we’ve done everything we can with it now."

So, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle could be the last we see on the Wii.

Not surprised, and half expected this. NMH didn't sell enough on Wii, so even I was surprised to see Wii get a sequel.

My guess is that Suda will focus his attention on 360 next, since PS3 is still expensive to develop for and Grasshopper is still small.

I'll look forward to whatever Grasshopper has planned next.

A PS3 version may be in time for Sony's Wiimote-a-like. Or would
they go with straight up analogue controls on both other platforms?
Could be, as they apparently have a 360 game in development.

I think I like Suda51 more than his games though. Just not my thing.
Couldn't get into Killer7 or NMH.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll come up with something else cool.

I hope NMH goes to other consoles now, which is looking likely. A hard drive and more memory should make those games better.

I hear Suda is a big Burnout fan too, dudes got good taste.

I don´t think they have reached the limits of what a hack and slash game can be in the Wii if NMH2 doesn´t use Motion Plus.
