The Kojima website has been updated once again, this time revealing an image of what looks like Big Boss.
Also new to the site are the letters 'R' and 'P'.
Big Boss, if you're not familiar with him, is the chap who was once Solid Snake's commanding officer as well as having been revealed as his father/whatever you call someone a clone's ripped from.
That said, the chap now on the page, while looking a lot like Big Boss, may not actually
be Big Boss. Famitsu is carrying an interview with Kojima that casts some doubt on the matter.
Huge chunks of the interview are censored, apparently because Kojima was a bit too loose of the tongue, but a
translation done by GameTrailers forum user ExGouki tells us Kojima refers to the guy from the teaser as "the old man", rather than Big Boss, throughout the interview.
It was also noted that the emblem on the guy's hat is important. Rather than being a fox, it's a world map.
Kojima also said, "Put it this way, it's part of the orthodox
Metal Gear Saga". Well... according to ExGouchi he did. According to a Kotaku translation, he also said, "I can't say the title yet, but it's this kind of feeling. But it's the Metal Gear saga's tradition."
The teaser site is still
here. There's also, inevitably, another timer on there. Four and a bit more days until the next one ends. Expect more on June 1st.
Plenty to chew on there, we reckon. On the off chance you're still hungry, however,
look at this webcam tomfoolery.
