Non-US gamers rejoice! For the first time, you'll be able to watch BlizzCon without trekking to the United States of America, all for the affordable price of... $40?
Yes, Activision Blizzard has announced that tickets for BlizzCon will be on sale for $125 as of May 16th, giving details of this year's online video service along with it. As happened last year, a DIRECTV video feed with a minimum of eight hours footage per day will be available for $39.95 USD (may vary from country to country). This will be the first time the service is available outside North America.
Is it just us, or is $40 just to sit at home and watch the event a little steep? If it is just us being tightwads, please do tell us in the forum...
For those who do want to attend and aren't free to snatch up tickets on May 16th, there will be a second block of tickets released on May 30th. They're available at Blizzard's official site.

Gosh dang it, I'll be in CA on Aug 21/22, but I'll be up a mountain, not in Anaheim.

Forty dollars? Lemme think about that one for a bit...
What else can I get for $40:
a) a somewhat decent dinner/movie date with a hot chick that might have "benefits" that could last me a few days or if I'm THAT lucky, a couple of weeks
b) a world of warcraft account and battlechest that's good for about a month
c) a decent pair of new kicks that could last me up to a year or even more
And besides, is Blizzcon really worth it? Any half-decent gaming website would be updated with the Blizzcon happenings shortly after the gig finishes. So yeah, uhm option A, I choose you!
